I'm a big fan of DAISO so I thought I would check out their store near Town Hall Station in the Citigroup building. First impressions are that it looks like a giant asian grocery store from the front - with fast food at the front of it. It's kind of strange, cause it doesn't really scream out DAISO from the front at all.
Once you enter, you realise that the DAISO is actually within the store. About half the store is DAISO, and the other half is typical asian groceries. So yeah, that means half the store has $2.80 as the price per item, the rest has normal asian grocery prices. As far as the range goes, it's a bit disappointing. If you have been tot he Haymarket store you will know what I mean. There isn't as much kawaii here. I'll save my review of the Haymarket store for another post.
Edit 22/09/2013: Went to Citisuper yesterday and ALL the Daiso goodies were gone! The DAISO branded shelving was still there but all the stock seems to have been replaced with asian grocery snacks. Couldn't find any info on the Daiso website about this change/closure, so I don't know what's going on. The citisuper location is still listed on the Daiso website.
I did manage to get a few nice things from the DAISO side:

Left to right: Face oil-blotting papers, Aloe vera eyelid glue, Liquid eyeliner, 2 pack of BB Face masks, and 3 pack of Collagen face masks.
From the asian grocery side: I found these mochi boxes - they were under $2 each for a box of 6 (can't remember the price).
Also couldn't resist getting these Hello Panda choc-filled bikkies for a mate of mine. So cute!!
